Lesson Schedule
Any experienced surfer will tell you how crucial it is to time your surf around the correct tide and conditions. Our surf schedule is created fortnightly to coincide with the best time to surf in Raglan. These ideal conditions make it easier for our students to learn, and more importantly, to have fun.
Because the surf lesson times are always fluctuating with the tides, you are able to choose the lesson time that will best fit your itinerary.
Packages
The goal of our Raglan surf packages is simple: To provide a foundation for students to pursue surfing in a fun, relaxed environment. Our multi-day packages focus on ocean knowledge and development of proper technique. With every lesson, our team of experienced instructors will introduce new insight and skills for each individual surfer. We keep group numbers small in order to deliver a more personal experience.

School Groups
Custom Surf Lessons Designed for School Groups
Surfing provides a unique opportunity for students to gain confidence in the ocean while learning a new skill. Green Wave Raglan designs fun, educational and affordable surf programs for school groups all over New Zealand. Our lessons utilize surfing to educate students about health and fitness, environmental education and ocean science. With all of our lessons, safety is a top priority. Before entering the water, our experienced instructors go over topics like tides, rips and swell conditions. Our goal is for students to leave the beach more confident and more informed about the ever-changing ocean environment. And of course, have a lot of fun!
School Group lessons are available to book any time of the year. Single and Multi-day programs available. We can host any number of students and help arrange accommodation if necessary. For group accommodation we recommend Raglan Holiday Park. Please enquire for more details and pricing info.
Book Equipment
We offer quality wetsuit and surfboard rentals suited to Raglan’s local conditions, so you can learn in equipment that feels safe, stable, and appropriate for the beach on the day. Our focus is on giving learners the best possible experience, with soft, user-friendly setups where needed and quality PU surfboards also available for those ready for the next step.
